Now that you’ve said “Yes to the Dress” and are officially a J. Andrew’s Bride, let’s walk through the enchanting alterations and fitting process designed exclusively for you. We aim to make this experience as joyful and seamless as your walk down the aisle.

Please note there is a $50 booking deposit to reserve your time with our dedicated seamstress, which will be applied to your overall alterations cost. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or do not show, the deposit is applied as your cancellation fee and is nonrefundable. Booking another appointment will result in an additional $50 deposit.

1st Fitting | Pinning

Expect your first fitting to last an hour to an hour and a half. This crucial appointment typically takes place 2-3 months before your wedding date, ensuring your gown has arrived and you’re close enough to avoid major size changes. Don’t forget to bring your wedding shoes! If your gown was ordered with a specific length, try them on with your gown before committing, as a ½ to 1-inch tolerance might necessitate a shoe switch for a graceful walk. This “Pinning” fitting is where you’ll discuss fit, desired adjustments, and any customizations to make your gown uniquely yours. The Final Fitting
